THE VEHICLE FEATURES LEVEL 1 PROTECTION IN ACCORDANCE WITH NATO AEP-55 STANAG 4569
The vehicle’s roof can be equipped with a rotating mount for a machine gun and a protective shield.
One of the key advantages of the UAT-TISA is its low weight and compact dimensions, which ensure a high level of stealth for crew operations.
The vehicle is built on the TOYOTA LC 79 chassis. The UAT-TISA offers excellent dynamic performance, enhanced off-road capability, and high maneuverability in challenging conditions. It is designed to cover long distances at a consistently high average speed.
The current model has successfully passed ballistic resistance tests, confirming its compliance with NATO AEP-55 STANAG 4569 Level 1 standards for ballistic, fragmentation, and mine protection.

The UAT-TISA’s layout separates the crew and troop compartment from the engine, transmission, and fuel tanks, enhancing crew safety in combat conditions.
EQUIPMENT:
Air conditioning, cabin heater, and a modern filter-ventilation system.
Optional night vision devices with display output to a screen in front of the driver.
Optional installation of VHF radio, satellite navigation, electronic warfare equipment, and a mount for a machine gun.
The crew and landing personnel are safely separated from the engine, transmission compartment, and fuel tanks. Crew workstations are specifically designed to protect lives in the event of an explosive device detonation.

The armor protection is engineered to withstand the detonation of explosive devices with a TNT equivalent of up to 3 kg under the wheel and two DM-51 anti-personnel grenades under the center of the underbody.

The vehicle is built using the TOYOTA LC 79 chassis and components, along with parts and systems from other manufacturers.

ARMAMENT:

The vehicle is equipped with:

  • advanced electronic warfare systems,
  • night vision systems.

The roof can be fitted with a rotating mount for a machine gun and protective shield.

DESIGN AND PROTECTION:

The armored hull provides:

  • all-round protection for the crew;
  • level 1 protection in accordance with NATO AEP-55 STANAG 4569.

The armored capsule includes:

  • Anti-fragmentation lining made of material that protects against irregularly shaped fragments weighing 1.1 g and traveling at speeds of up to 500 m/s.
  • Front doors that open in the direction of travel and rear doors that open in the opposite direction — this 180° opening provides additional armor protection when entering or exiting the vehicle under fire.
  • Interior anti-shrapnel lining to safeguard the crew and internal equipment from secondary fragments. Ballistic glass with a protection level equal to the corresponding armored sections, while maintaining high visibility.
CHASSIS:

The UAT-TISA armored vehicle is built on a modified TOYOTA LC 79 platform and features a significantly upgraded suspension system. Key components of the original chassis have been replaced, including:

  • leaf springs, shock absorbers, coil springs, anti-roll bar, stabilizer struts.
  • The axles have been reinforced for added durability and protection.

Thanks to these enhancements, the UAT-TISA demonstrates high dynamic performance, superior off-road capability, and excellent maneuverability in difficult terrain — while maintaining the ability to travel long distances at a consistently high average speed..

The TISA armored vehicle platform can be adapted into an operational and technical support vehicle for the needs of the State Emergency Service and other emergency response units.
