Designed to transport defense personnel (2 crew members and 8+1 troops) and provide them with fire support during combat operations.
The vehicle meets Level 2 protection according to the NATO AEP-55 STANAG 4569 standard
Ballistic protection against armor-piercing incendiary 7.62 mm rounds at a distance of 10 meters.
Anti-mine protection against the detonation of a high-explosive anti-tank mine with a charge equivalent to 6 kg of TNT.

The UAT GYURZA 01's body structure prevents bullets and shrapnel from penetrating the vehicle from any direction.
The rotating turret is equipped with a mount for a 12.7 mm machine gun. It can also be fitted with an automatic remote-controlled weapon station (RCWS).
The vehicle features advanced electronic warfare (EW) systems, automatic fire suppression systems (engine compartment, troop compartment, and wheel arches), and night vision capabilities.
The flagship vehicle of UKR ARMO TECH is the “Gyurza” armored vehicle (UAT GYURZA 01).

It features full-time all-wheel drive (4×4) with a differential lock function and a dual V-shaped hull floor designed to withstand a 6 kg explosive blast — in accordance with STANAG 4569 Level 2a/2b standards. The armor offers protection classified as PZSA-5 (equivalent to STANAG 4569 Level II), capable of withstanding armor-piercing incendiary rounds of 7.62×39 mm caliber.

Additionally, the inner capsule of the vehicle is fully lined with aramid anti-fragmentation fabric, providing protection against free-form fragments weighing 1.1 grams traveling at speeds of at least 500 m/s — effectively shielding personnel from shrapnel injuries.
The Gyurza is equipped with a 6.7-liter, six-cylinder Cummins turbo diesel engine delivering 380 hp and 1,017 Nm of torque, paired with a six-speed Aisin automatic transmission. The vehicle is fitted with fuel tanks totaling 280 liters in capacity.

This armored vehicle features a modernized suspension system, in which all core components of the base chassis have been replaced — including leaf springs, shock absorbers, coil springs, anti-roll bars, and stabilizer links. The vehicle’s axles are also fitted with additional reinforced protection.

The Gyurza rides on 20-inch military-grade wheels with 335/80 R20 tires and RUNFLAT inserts.

DESIGN & PROTECTION:

The design of the UAT GYURZA 01’s armored body prevents the penetration of bullets and shrapnel around the entire vehicle perimeter. It offers:

  • Ballistic protection against 7.62 mm armor-piercing incendiary rounds from a distance of 10 meters;
  • Fragmentation protection against 155 mm high-explosive artillery shell detonations at a distance of 80 meters;
  • Mine protection against anti-tank mines with a blast charge of up to 6 kg of explosives.
SUSPENSION & TRANSMISSION:

This armored vehicle is equipped with a modernized suspension system, in which all key components of the base chassis have been fully replaced:

  • leaf springs;
  • shock absorbers;
  • coil springs;
  • anti-roll bars, stabilizer links, and more.

The vehicle’s axles also feature additional reinforced protection.
